AAA Urges District Attorney to Charge Animal Abusers with Felonies Rather than Misdemeanor Offenses

The owner and employees of an Ontario, CA livestock auction house face animal cruelty charges after undercover video shot by an animal rights group allegedly shows the workers kicking, tossing and beating the animals. Prosecutors filed 21 misdemeanor charges of animal cruelty against the owner and seven employees last week after conducting an investigation with the Inland Valley Humane Society. Click here to read more. Animal Advocates Alliance sent the following letter to District Attorney Deborah Ploghaus urging her to charge these criminals with felony offenses rather than misdemeanors.
