Rocco “the wiggle butt” Staffordshire Terrier mix, is the silliest and most well behaved little guy! We believe he’s just under a year old. He’s the sweetest most fun loving cool guy. Rescued from a high kill shelter with only hours left to his life, a volunteer spent a lot of time and days with him, and couldn’t let this sweet guy’s life end. He was found very scared and shutdown, with his coat not in the best shape. With the TLC he needed, he bounced back beautifully and so quickly! In just 2 weeks he has the most gorgeous, lush and soft coat, it’s remarkable! He loves to hang around and lounge, and loves to go for walks. He walks really well on a leash and gets along great with other dogs. He has a shorter, smaller frame weighing 60 lbs. Striking eyes that beam as he looks at you. He doesn’t have too much to say, because we’ve never heard him bark. He learns general commands quickly and loves to give affection. He makes a great companion dog for any home. Since he may be or still has a little puppy personality in him, we recommend a puppy training class and continued socialization and continuity in his training.

Mimi is a little 5.5 pound, 2 year old female Chihuahua found as a stray. Baxter the silly smiling pug is a silly older gent. He had come into a high kill shelter as a stray during the busiest impound time of the year so his chances of safety were nil. Baxter is 8 or 9 years old and is just the sweetest and most loving easy going doll you will meet. He is super affectionate, loves to cuddle and loves all dogs. Baxter suffers from dry eye which is a common pug issue and will need eye drops daily to lubricate his eyes. He also is a bit hard of hearing…another common pug issue. Regardless of these small ailments, Baxter is loving and easy-going and has a lot of pep and life in him and just wants to please. He loves taking long siestas and enjoys cuddling and relaxing and is great for any pug fanatic or kind soul that wants to give love to a wonderful canine companion in his mature years. Baxter adores other dogs and loves children and is very gentle and sweet to all humans and all animals, he is gentle and calm with cats and birds too! Buster is an adorable and healthy one year old tri-color male Chihuahua. He is very alert and very smart and very happy to be held. Buster came in to a high kill shelter during the most crowded time of year. A kind animal advocate met this sweet little boy on the day he was impounded and promised him exodus and safety. Buster loves other dogs and is most likely fine with cats. He has a beaming personality and is very attentive and loving. He weighs 8 pounds and has great stand up ears and stunning chocolate brown and tan markings on his white body. Buster is healthy, vet checked, neutered and current on vaccines and micro-chipped and will go to a home that best suits his needs.

Meet Mochi, a 2-yr-old, 45 lb. wigglebutt who practically convulses with joy when hanging out with her human companions!  Unfortunately for Mochi, she was the victim of a backyard ear cropping job and has strangely shaped ears to show for it.  She’s a resilient girl, however, and doesn’t hold a grudge against people – in fact, all she wants to do is spend time with humans and play with other bigger and active dogs, just watch the video below to see her interaction with other bigger dogs.  Because she was never socialized properly, Mochi should not be with smaller dogs.  Mochi is clean, quiet and obedient.  Mochi is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Panda is an incredibly sweet and happy three-year-old female Bulldog/Staffie mix. Panda was found on the streets of Los Angeles and is currently in a temporary foster home. Panda is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and in need of a great foster home or better yet a forever home. Her recent foster absolutely loved her but had landlord issues and Panda is now back in boarding. We recently discovered that Panda is actually fine with bigger dogs but should not be in a home with small animals but her tail never stops wagging with people around and she absolutely loves to go for walks.  She knows many commands and is very responsive to training and loves treats. She is potty trained and crate-trained. She’s about 50-55lbs. Hannah is a one-year-old Pointer/Staffie mix who was found trapped in a narrow passage between two buildings in downtown Los Angeles. It was blocked at one end with barbed wire, and she was covered in scratches from trying to climb over it. But now all of her scratches have healed, and she’s ready to find her forever home! Hannah is submissive and still a bit timid and shy in new situations, but she is the absolute sweetest girl in the world. She is great with people, all other dogs, and even the two cats she lives with in her foster home. She walks well on the leash, is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and is coming along nicely with housebreaking. This affectionate, medium-energy girl will be an incredibly loyal, loving companion for whoever is lucky enough to adopt her!

Hi there! My name is Petey and I am one of the cutest little pups if I do say so myself! I was found as a stray and the good folks over at AAA rescued me when I caught a cold in the shelter.  I love women! More to the point, I’m looking for a mom who will love me as much as I love her. I’m a little guy, a yellow Chihuahua about a dozen pounds, but I have a huge personality. I love to kiss and love to be hugged and petted. I also love to snuggle next to my mommy when we sleep. I’m also very smart, and promise to protect you from burglars by letting you know who’s at the door.  But if you tell me, “no,” I’m also very good at listening because I love you and only want to make you happy. Cinnamon is a 5 to 6 year old Pug/Chihuahua mix weighing about 12 pounds. She is very sweet and gentle and loves to be petted. She is housetrained and very well behaved. She likes to play but also really enjoys relaxing and napping! Cinnamon gets along well with other dogs but doesn’t need a doggie companion and would be totally fine as the only dog in the home. Cinnamon is also good with children. She lived her whole life with one family and then they abandoned her. Please consider giving Cinnamon a real forever home!
