Description: Animal Advocates Alliance and United Hope for Animals are conducting “Glamour Shots” at the Baldwin Park shelter. The photos, videos and information collected allows us to successfully get the word out about some of the homeless animals at the Baldwin Park shelter. These important networking efforts help get many of the wonderful shelter animals rescued and/or adopted!

Volunteers: To volunteer at the shelter you will need to complete an LA County volunteer application and the shelter’s volunteer orientation. Please wear your Animal Advocates Alliance or your County of LA t-shirt. (You may purchase an LA County Volunteer t-shirt for $10 at the shelter following completion of orientation). Please arrive by 9:00 am!

Title: AAA Foster Dog Adoption Event!
Location: Pan Pacific Park- 7600 Beverly Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90036
Description: Come meet some of the dogs that AAA currently has up for adoption. Come spend some time with them and talk to their foster parents! Interested in a particular dog? Email us at info@animaladvocatesalliance.org to see if that dog will attend. (Note: this is a foster dog adoption event. Unlike the mobile adoption events that we host for the Baldwin Park shelter, the dogs at this event will not go home with potential adopters. There is an application process as well as a required home check. This is an opportunity to meet the dogs we have up for adoption and talk to the people who know them best, their foster moms and dads!)

Volunteers: We need your help from 11:30-5:30. Set up from 11:30-12:00, handling dogs and talking with potential adopters from 12-5pm and clean up from 5:00-5:30. Please RSVP to: sarahpg@animaladvocatesalliance.org

Title: Pet Adoption Event- Fox Studios
Location: Fox Studios lot in West LA
Description: This is a private adoption event on the Fox Studios lot in West LA. Fox employees have the opportunity to adopt some great shelter animals. (NOTE: This event is for Fox employees only, the Fox lot is only accessible to Fox employees with ID.)

Volunteers: We need help with setup and unloading dogs from the van starting at 11:00am. We need help with handling dogs and talking with potential adopters from 11am-2pm. We need help with clean up and loading the animals back in the van from 2-3pm. We need help “babysitting” the adopted animals until 6pm, so that adopters can pick them up when their work day ends!
