Description: Come meet some of the dogs that AAA currently has up for adoption. Come spend some time with them and talk to the people who know them best- their foster parents! Interested in a particular dog? Email us at info@animaladvocatesalliance.org to see if that dog will attend. (Note: dogs at this event will not go home with potential adopters. There is an application process as well as a required home check. This is an opportunity to meet the dogs and talk to their foster parents!)

Location: 135 North Gower Street Los Angeles, CA – 90004 (Larchmont area)
Description: Shop for treasures and bargains at our fabulous yard sale! Come by and spend a few bucks to help the animals! Lots of great items – nick-nacks…. clothing…. furniture! 100% of what you spend will be used to help AAA rescue homeless animals!

Have some items that you no longer want or need? Please consider donating to AAA for the yard sale! Spring cleaning AND good karma – can’t beat that! If you have something to donate please bring it by on Thursday 6/9 or Friday 6/10 between 6pm-9pm (same address as the yard sale location)

Title: Baldwin Park Shelter Volunteer Day- “Glamour Shots”
Location: Baldwin Park Shelter- 4275 N. Elton St., Baldwin Park, CA 9170
Description: We will be walking, grooming, socializing, and photographing/videotaping as many animals as possible, after which we will circulate an electronic flyer to a large distribution group for networking.

Directions: From any location west of downtown LA, take the 10 Freeway east, merge onto 605 North and exit Ramona – stay in left hand lane as you will need to make a left turn once you pass the train tracks to make sure you stay on Ramona. Turn left on Elton. Elton is a very small street (almost an alley), so it is easy to miss the street sign. Keep your eyes peeled!

Volunteers: To volunteer at the shelter you will need to complete an LA County volunteer application and the shelter’s volunteer orientation. Please wear your Animal Advocates Alliance or your County of LA t-shirt. (You may purchase an LA County Volunteer t-shirt for $10 at the shelter following completion of orientation). Please arrive by 9:00 am!
