Since our organization began in 2008, we have worked to promote the humane treatment of animals through community education, spay/neuter programs, legal advocacy, rescue of abused and neglected dogs and cats, and raising awareness of the plight of companion animals in city and county shelters. Animal Advocates Alliance could not have achieved any of these successes without the tireless efforts of our volunteers, and the incredibly generous contributions we have received from animal lovers like you, who share in our conviction that “their lives matter.”
As a non-profit organization, we rely entirely on charitable donations to keep our doors open to the overwhelming number of animals in need and to continue to care for the animals we have rescued while they patiently wait for their new forever homes. In order to continue our work, we need your help! We truly cannot do it without you.
Every dollar that you can spare is greatly appreciated! Donations are tax deductible! Tax ID# 80-0276172

A unique time for AAA
Animal Advocates Alliance has reached a unique crossroads. The nation’s economic downturn has affected our mission in two ways. First, as people attempt to navigate through this difficult economy, many are unable to continue to care for their pets. This has led to a sharp increase in the number of abandoned pets, as well as an increase in the number of strays and owner surrenders to local shelters. What this means for AAA is that more animals are in urgent need of rescue. Second, the economy has affected the number of donations being made to non-profit organizations. The hardest hit among those organizations are animal welfare groups.
Unfortunately, AAA is not immune to this phenomenon. We too have taken a hit. At AAA we are one hundred percent committed to each animal we rescue. As we struggle to stay financially afloat. Our primary concern is that our animals continue to receive the best care available. At this time, ninety percent of donations received by AAA go directly toward such care; specifically, medical care and boarding expenses.
The rest is used to cover our most basic operating costs. This is a difficult time for us, yet, we are confident that with your help we can continue to care for our rescued dogs and cats, find them wonderful homes, and rescue more animals in desperate need of our help.

Examples of the costs involved in supporting an AAA dog or cat:
- $25 will pay for a collar, leash and a tag
- $40 will pay for dog treats, a bed & food for one month
- $70 will pay for vaccinations and microchip for one dog/cat
- $100 will save a dog/cat from a shelter
- $150 will pay for spay/neuter for one dog/cat
- $300 will pay for medication for a sick or injured dog/cat
- $500 will pay for one month of boarding for one dog
- $1000 will pay for one month of behavioral rehabilitation due to neglect/abuse for one dog
