Kobe is a 3.5 year old Labrador mix weighing 55 pounds. Kobe is one of the sweetest dogs! He craves affection and loves to be rubbed all over and petted. He’s a shadow dog – he wants to be near you all the time! Kobe would do best as the only dog in the home because he craves human affection and really wants to soak up all the attention he can get! He is patient with children and when meeting new people. He is fully housetrained and he is super smart and learns new commands quickly. Kobe gets very excited at the prospect of going for a walk and when he sees another dog he wants to play with. When he gets excited he gets a little jumpy so additional work on that habit is needed. He has a high energy level; he loves to play ball and will benefit from long walks, hikes, jogging and any other form of exercise. He is a fun loving dog and a great pet.

Mitchell is a 3 month old terrier mix pup (possibly Yorkie/Schnauzer) weighing about 6 pounds. Mitchell is an adorable, affectionate, and energetic little man who loves to play. He is great with other dogs and loves people. He needs a home where he will get a lot of attention and exercise. He has no aggression issues around food or treats, he is nearly 100% housebroken, and he is learning to walk nicely on a leash. Mitchell requires a home where he is not left alone for long hours, and he is probably not suited for apartments or townhomes, as he can be noisy when he plays or wants attention. Ideally, he should be placed with another high-energy, playful dog and with high-energy people to match!

Bob is a 4 year old 52 pound pit boy. Bob is simply one of the nicest dogs we have met in a long time. He is cheerful and always happy to see you, he walks well on the leash – and his favorite place to be is at your side, with his head nestled in your arm – though he would probably prefer to be in your lap. He is a mellow guy and loves to give hugs. Bob was dumped at a high kill shelter after having had a rough start to his life, but that has not affected him one bit. Bob is good with other dogs but as with all dominant breeds, he should be supervised when around other dogs. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, home check and contract are required.

Bonita is a gorgeous, 2 year old blue female pit bull who was rescued from a high kill shelter. She is smart and loving and really connects with people. She loves being at your side and will do anything to please her person. When we rescued her she had with a badly broken elbow. After consulting with several vets, it was determined she would need to have the leg amputated and she now is doing GREAT as a tripod. She can run and play just like any other dog. Being a tripod doesn’t slow her down AT ALL. She does great on the leash, is house trained and has great manners. Bonita needs to be an only dog. She is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. An adoption fee, application, home check and contract are required.

Zowie (formerly Savannah) is a -4 year old chocolate brown Labrador retriever/pitbull mix weighing 61 pounds. One ear loves to stand up! Zowie is a fast learner and already knows some basic commands. She walks great on a leash and loves to go for car rides. She was recently rescued from the North Central animal shelter. So far she seems to be good with other dogs and with cats. A very sweet, adoring dog!

Nemo is a 3 month old pit bull puppy who was rescued from a high kill shelter. When we rescued him he had a deformed front leg. We consulted with several vets and they all agreed it would need to be removed. We raised the money to have that done and he is doing great as a tripod. He’s active and playful and gets along great with other dogs. There is really nothing Nemo can’t do. He’s looking for his forever home with a family that will love him and accept him with his imperfections. He’s got a lot of love to give in return. He is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. A home check, adoption fee and contract are required for Nemo.

Buddy is a 6-7 yr old male Chihuahua. He is very sweet and playful. Great with kids and other dogs and cats.
