When it ceased to operate, the urgent need for animal advocates and support for rescues in the LA area (and all of CA) did not cease.

California has one of the largest economies in the world, standing by its self as a state. There are many challenges in the state, but this is one we can work towards compassionately fixing.
With thoughtful activism from advocates, the community can learn to rescue FIRST
The Animal Advocacy Alliance, originally established as a registered non-profit organization, was driven by the core mission of curbing the rate of animal euthanasia. It achieved this by championing comprehensive humane education and implementing a robust rescue and adoption program. Its programs were multi-faceted and designed to inspire a deep sense of responsibility and compassion towards our fellow animals.
One of its key initiatives involved conducting comprehensive humane education in local schools. This included highlighting the importance of spaying and neutering pets as a significant strategy in preventing overpopulation and subsequently reducing euthanasia. The organization aimed to cultivate a sense of understanding, respect, and empathy towards animals among our young generations, believing that such seeds of kindness could truly make a difference.
In addition, it actively organized and facilitated mobile shelter adoptions, creating opportunities for the public to meet and bond with the rescued animals. These events served as a vital platform for potential adopters to interact with animals, fostering connections and promoting adoption.
Furthermore, the organization was staunchly committed to rescuing animals who had unfortunately been subjected to abuse, neglect, or those on the brink of euthanasia. It worked relentlessly to give these animals a second chance at life, providing them with the care and love they deserved while finding their forever homes.
Today, we continue to uphold these founding principles and goals but with an augmented focus on promoting adoption and encouraging volunteer participation within active dog shelters across Los Angeles.
We strive to inspire the community to join our cause, whether through adopting a rescued animal or volunteering their time at our partner shelters. Through these collaborative efforts, we believe we can create a compassionate city where every animal is valued and cared for, significantly reducing euthanasia rates and improving animal welfare in our society.
